Dr. Susanne Rothe-Dietrich - Diplom-Ernährungswissenschaftlerin

Dr. Susanne Rothe-Dietrich is a graduate nutrition scientist. After various positions and tasks in the field of Regulatory Affairs in the flavor industry, she has been working as a consultant for RDA again since the end of 2023.

Dr. Susanne Rothe-Dietrich studied Nutrition Sciences at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. She completed her doctorate on 'Investigations on the role of sterol regulatory element-binding proteins (SREBPs) in the regulation of genes of thyroid hormone synthesis' at Justus Liebig University Giessen in 2011.

From 2011 to 2017, she worked for an international manufacturer of flavors, fragrances, and aroma chemicals. In her role as Regulatory Affairs Specialist, she was responsible for various tasks, including food law-related issues and regulatory product assessments. Additionally, she served as a contact person for authorities and represented the company in the Flavors Working Group of the German Association of the Flavor Industry (DVAI).

From the end of 2017 to the end of 2021, she worked for the RDA as a consultant for the first time, advising our clients on all natural science, nutritional science and food law issues. Following this, she assumed the role of Group Leader Regulatory Affairs in the flavor industry, providing professional leadership to a team of several employees. Since the end of 2023, she has been a consultant in the RDA Scientific Consultants GmbH team again and supports our clients with all inquiries and complex approval processes.
