Anika Reinmüller – State certified food chemist

Anika Reinmüller is a state-certified food chemist and joins the team of RDA since mid-2020. She consults our clients in the fields of food, especially with regard to food supplements, cosmetics and consumer goods, as well as in toxicological matters.


Anika Reinmüller successfully finished her food chemistry studies in 2019 with a Master of Science degree at the Julius-Maximilians-University in Würzburg. After that, she obtained the second state exam as a state-certified food chemist at the “Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety”.

During her studies, she worked as a scientific associate at the university as well as in research and food laboratories where she was engaged in method development regarding metabolomics and proteomics, amongst others. Due to her master thesis at the “Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety” she gained experience in official food control and is familiar with regulatory procedures.

Since mid 2020 Anika Reinmüller supports the RDA team as a state-certified food chemist and advises national and international companies on scientific and legal issues relating to food, cosmetics and consumer goods. She is mainly focused on labelling checks, borderline issues as well as toxicological assessments.
